Another fav! Again, I was drawn to the colors. And like the movement in this piece. You've got a knack for taking something ordinary and making it extraordinary. Like your garlic piece for the same reasons. btw, great to meet you and Landon at Peaks!!! :) jeanne jeanne
Thanks so much Jeanne! It was so great to meet you, too. This one is one of my favorites, too. I'll never let it go. :) (Same with the salt shaker!) I hope you're doing well!
Inspired from from the natural world, (except for those times that I'm inspired by the human-made world), I recreate its intensity that it communicates to me through ink and/or gouache drawings and paintings. Some pieces are spastic while others are controlled--depending upon the nature of the subject and the nature of my mood. Many of my pieces deal with different types of relationships, both experienced and observed.
Other pursuits--being a Doula, playing the banjo as well as a slew of other instruments, pottery, wire working, knitting/crocheting, screen printing, refinishing furniture, etc...
If you are interested in buying a piece or want to talk to me about any requests/commissions email me at lauren.kenneally@gmail.com, or visit my etsy page at www.artfulingo.etsy.com!
